Democratizing Immersive Media: How Pano2VR and BlippAR Enable Non-Coders to Create Professional VR/AR Content In-Person
ABSTRACT
The advancement of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies has traditionally required specialized coding expertise, creating a barrier for many creative professionals. This presentation explores how user-friendly platforms such as Pano2VR and BlippAR are transforming the landscape by allowing designers without programming backgrounds to produce professional-level immersive content. By highlighting practical workflows, case studies, and applications in the graphic design industry, this session will demonstrate how these tools can enhance interactivity, storytelling, and user engagement. The talk will also touch on the pedagogical potential of integrating AR/VR into design education, equipping students and professionals alike to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital media environment.
